With last weekend firmly out of the way I can now resume my regular painting schedule…or can I?
It appears there is now a little under ten weeks until the 2nd Confrontation & I’ve decided that I’d like to take my Deathwatch to this event which means I need to paint the army!
The list is built so it’s just brush work from here on in. This is what I’m going to be working on…
This weekend saw the annual Pompey Pillage event return & as always the event was a colossal amount of fun with a great bunch of people.
The event took the form of five games of 8th edition 40k spread over two days, and we’re talking pure, uncut, out of the book 40 Ammerz (see what I did there).
So…I’m pretty glad that I switched my list in the end. The humid weather still hasn’t let up & there’s roughly two weeks until the event meaning I’d never get my Red Hunters done in time 😦
Luckily I’ve managed to get things together for my alternative list from my last post.
As anyone I know will tell you, should you be so inclined, I am a bit of an Inquisition fanboy. Personally I blame the Inquisition War book & the Eisenhorn / Ravenor series.
Anyway I thought I’d provide a review on the current state of the Inquisition as a faction inside of 8th Edition 40k.
In the middle of last week I got a message from a buddy I’ve not properly seen for quite a while letting me know that he’s finally got a weekend off & asking if I would like to hook up for some 40ammerz (see what I did there?)
As it turned out not only did he only have a weekend off but he’s also manged to get time off for the Pompey Pillage so we decided to get some practice in. Continue reading
Back in one of my previous blog posts I warned about hobby A.D.D. & it’s reared its head already. In the last week or so The Pompey Pillage has announced their 8th edition 40k rules pack for this August.
