A slightly later start on this year’s mad painting dash to get ready for Pompey Pillage but that is partly due to me hitting an all time low model count for the 2000 point cap at the event.
This year I shall be running five(ish) miniatures in the event, three of which I have already painted.
This weekend saw the 2nd Confrontation Alliances 40k doubles event take place…in the grim darkness of Havant, there is only nerds!
So, as it happens I’ve become a last minute member of one of the teams at this weekend’s 40k doubles event, The 2nd Confrontation Alliances…with only two days to prepare I had to come up with 900 points pretty quickly.
In the middle of last week I got a message from a buddy I’ve not properly seen for quite a while letting me know that he’s finally got a weekend off & asking if I would like to hook up for some 40ammerz (see what I did there?)
As it turned out not only did he only have a weekend off but he’s also manged to get time off for the Pompey Pillage so we decided to get some practice in. Continue reading
